I can't believe that the longest month of the year is almost over! I think this is the fastest this month has gone by for me. Usually I have to sit down and come up with things to keep me busy in January, but not this year! Between trying to juggle two stubborn and opinionated kids, a job, a husband, and trying to sell our house, I haven't had time to be bored.
The kids and I have had a lot of fun the last couple of weeks making bread, cookies, and play doh. I'm trying to follow my own advice and not let them watch as many movies. Although I dare anyone to try and take Blue's Clues away from my Elisabeth...ohhh the screaming!!!
Tate has made it through O in the alphabet at school and the number 6. He sure enjoys going to preschool and learning new things every week. Elisabeth keeps us all on our toes with her stubborn, but sweet disposition. She also has a habit of drawing on herself as well as the walls, and thinking she is Picasso. We have gone through a lot of Mr. Clean white scrubbers in the last few weeks. Our new paint job of last month doesn't look so new anymore.
My time until the baby is born is dwindling fast. I only have about 4 weeks left to teach before my student teacher takes over for the rest of the year. In a way I am excited, but this is my favorite time of the year to teach so it is hard to let someone else teach all of my favorite chapters.
The nights are getting shorter as I get bigger, but I am very glad to be having a baby again. There are many people in this world who are not as lucky as I am.
